Lovely stay at a great place. The setting is great and everything was clean and comfortable.
Lovely property! Everything we needed was present - huge kitchen, comfy beds, cozy bedding, nice porch with lawn chairs and perfectly half-way between the Port Renfrew pub and Pacheedaht beach. Port Renfrew is quiet and this was a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a change of pace. Botanical Beach was dreamy! Several places were closed Tues/Wed so keep that in mind for timing. Directions, check-in/out and communication with Lynda were all excellent! Date of arrival - July 14, 2024
The apartment is in a nice neighbourhood. There is a big green space behind the house with a nice fireplace. The information binder is great and has a lot of info relevant for the area. Great place to relax.
We had a wonderful time at Lynda’s, her place is perfect for a small family, our son enjoyed running around in the backyard and enjoyed his meals in the high chair that had been left for us to use :) The house is conveniently close to a lot of places we wanted to visit, which made it easy to return for nap times and then head back out.
What a delightful place to stay! My partner and I had something come up that encouraged us to book a weekend away last minute with the combined desire to "work from home" on Friday before exploring Port Renfrew over the weekend. Being able to bring our dog, Goose, was a primary factor in our search, so finding such a wonderfully cozy cottage that is pet friendly was a dream. Lynda kindly called me the morning of to fill us in on check-in details and answer some of my questions. I sadly was in a virtual meeting when she stopped by with some extra items for our stay per our phone call the morning prior. The cottage is nestled in a quaint little community with a perfect little loop for walking the pup and within an easy walking distance to the local pub and a few other establishments. We brought all of our own groceries and were impressed by the kitchen! Had coffee overlooking the forest and even enjoyed a fire in the fire pit. (Highly recommend scooping up firewood from Stoked Woodfired Pizza en route)! The welcome binder was filled with useful information and plenty of suggestions of things to do in town. Greatly enjoyed Botanical Beach as well as China Beach on the way home. Could not rave enough, cheers!
“Cozy, comfy, everything you need. The power went out in town but I was comfy with extra blankets, flashlights and candles. The propane bbq and hot water heater were both great for the power outage. Gorgeous locations. Quiet and serene.”
Very clean and well maintained space, Lynda was helpful, responsive, and super friendly whenever we needed something! Expect to relax as there is no cell service in the area and the internet access is available but slow. They are finishing a couple other cottages in the area but construction is quiet and we didn’t notice unless walking around. Bring your own food and beverages as there are not many nearby options to shop or dine. Lots of outdoor hiking trails, parks, and beaches to explore in the area, so you can stay busy, weather permitting. We didn’t use the deck or fire pit, but they were nicely set up and quite inviting. Overall a great little suite!
