Great spot with a truly breathtaking view. When we arrived we immediately stationed ourselves on the deck to soak up the sun and take in the gorgeous scenery. The cabin was easy to find, with a full kitchen and a great BBQ. We enjoyed the gas fireplace table on the deck in the evening and had a lovely stay overall.

House is well-appointed with 2 bedrooms and baths, second bedroom with plenty of room (bunk with double and single above as well as additional single bed). Basic supplies provided in kitchen and bathrooms. Lovely patio with firepit. Clean and easy living. Great host who was very responsive to any questions we had.

We spent three nights in Port Renfrew and look forward to returning to Cedar Peaks. The cottage is not huge but is very well laid out and comfortably accommodated our family of four adults. The kitchen is well equipped. BBQ was clean and works well. Nice selection of board games for family time. Great views from deck and living room with high ceilings and plenty of light, even on those dank west coast days. Internet is slow but OK for anything short of web meetings or VPN. The owner was very easy to communicate with and helpful. Two thumbs up!
Lynda’s cottage on a hill over looking port San Juan was nothing short of amazing. Sitting beside a cozy fireplace we could watch Eagles in flight and land on the tree close to our window, breathtaking! The cottage itself had everything you need, and is simply gorgeous. The location was perfect for the panoramic ocean views and proximity to places to explore in Renfrew like Botanical Beach which is a must do. We appreciated being able to bring our dogs with us and had them out exploring the coast every day so it was a holiday for all. We will be back! Thank you for a marvellous stay, Lynda
Good morning Lynda - We are headed out. On our way to Mystic Beach and then Victoria. Thank you so much for the use of your place. We had the best three days ever. The place is perfect and Port Renfrew is nothing but charming. Thanks again, Steven
“If you are considering staying here, do it! The view is worth every penny. We were visited by eagles perched on top of the trees directly facing our balcony the whole weekend. We were able to use the telescope to get a close up view of all the beautiful birds. Lyndas place is close to San Juan beach, Botanical beach, both pubs, as well as a delicious breakfast spot called Tomi’s that’s walking distance from the cottage! Highly recommend staying here in Port Renfrew!”A
